The Consortia of Biomass Sustaining the Future (BESTF3), ERA-Net Bioenergy, together with the European Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP) Bioenergy are proud to announce the seminar entitled “Bioenergy – from Research to Market Deployment in a European Context” on 14 June 2017.
The Seminar is organised as a side-event in conjunction with the European Biomass Conference & Exhibition (EUBCE) in Stockholm and will start at 8.30 in the morning and finish around 15.30.
Results and challenges
The Seminar “Bioenergy – from Research to Market Deployment in a European context” will bring together selected key members from the bioenergy sector to discuss some of the latest bioenergy research results and current challenges in this field. The morning will focus on the research side and Project Coordinators of projects funded via ERA-Net Bioenergy and Biomass Sustaining the Future (BESTF) will present remarkable results of their past three years of research. The afternoon session will focus on strengthening the market uptake of advanced biofuels and bioenergy and will finish with a lively discussion on how to bridge the gap between research and demonstration and industry, and which R&D priorities to focus on. The panel will include representatives from the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) – Bioenergy Joint Programme, the Renewable Heating and Cooling Technology Platform (RHC) and ETIP Bioenergy. Lunch will be provided and there will be ample time for networking.
First come, first served
Those wishing to participate will be treated on a first come first-served basis. The room is large enough to accommodate 80 persons in total. It is important that you inform us whether you have a ticket for the EUBCE.
Interactive discussion with experts
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about the latest bioenergy research developments from experts in the field in Europe and to participate in a unique interactive discussion on how to drive this research forward to the market. If you are interested and wish to attend, please confirm before 1 May 2017 by filling in the registration form and also confirm whether you need an entrance ticket for the Seminar on 14 June 2017.
