Are you preparing a proposal for the Sustainable Water Fund? The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) is organising workshops to support you.

This workshop will take place on the 27th of October and will guide you through the FDW application sheet ‘Financial sustainability and revenue model’.

For whom?

  • You are preparing a proposal for the 3d call of FDW (Sustainable Water Fund)
  • You have a financial background and you are familiar with business cases

Learning objectives

  • To gain insight in how to use the FDW application sheet ‘Financial sustainability and revenue model’ to show the financial sustainability of your project
  • To understand the terminology used, what costs are eligible for subsidy and how the application sheet relates to Appendix 3, Program Budget
  • To gain insight in RVO’s motivation for requiring a detailed financial overview.

Cases will be used to illustrate the themes of the programme:

  1. Sustainable access to clean drinking water and sanitation (including waste)
  2. Efficient water use, especially in agriculture
  3. Improved river basin management and safe deltas.


You are requested to send questions regarding the Application sheet or Appendix 3 to in advance, together with your registration. This will help RVO prepare the workshop taking the needs identified into account.  Please note that the FDW application forms will be published in the second week of October 2016 on The working languages will be Dutch and English.
A maximum of 30 persons, one person per organisation, can participate in the training. The principle of ‘first come, first served’ applies. To register for the workshop, please send an e-mail to, providing the name of your organisation, contact details and your questions (max. 2) regarding the application sheet ‘Financial sustainability and revenue model’ or Appendix 3. Please state in the subject heading ‘Workshop Financial models’.

The workshop will take place at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, Beatrixlaan 2 (Centre Court), The Hague.
