The Netherlands Enterprise Agency was awarded the certificate for their assessment of the wind farm zone Hollandse Kust (zuid) sites I and II. Worldwide, we are the first government body to receive this certification.
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) received the certificate from DNV GL for the quality of their comprehensive site studies, as well as their completeness and precision. DNV GL pointed out that the quality of the studies is ‘state-of-the-art’.
These are technical studies. The studies are part of the tender for the new Hollandse Kust (zuid) wind farm sites I and II. Developers make use of these studies to prepare their tender. The tender is expected to open in September 2017.
To reduce the risks involved for contenders, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency has enhanced their site study procedures for wind energy farm zones. Reducing risks is one of the factors for submission of low tenders in the Netherlands. The Dutch Government assesses all research and makes it public. This provides a level playing field for all bidders.
