Threshold Criteria PDP IV 2022

The study provides information on trade opportunities between the countries on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, with a focus on Zambia and the port in Mpulungu. As such, this study fills a gap, as previous studies focused on the infrastructure and logistics of maritime trade on the lake.

This report looks at business opportunities that are part of the Worldbank's West Africa Coastal Areas Management Program (WACA). It identifies the most important stakeholders and their roles. The report also mentions the challenges that the private sector encounters when bidding on WACA projects and the lessons learned from coastal resilience projects in general. Additionally, the study contains a list of current WACA projects that might be interesting to Dutch entrepreneurs.

The management response to the Combined Mid-term Review for the Fund for Responsible Business (FVO) and the Fund against Child Labour (FBK). With reviews of progress and results, a review of the programme's effectiveness and recommendations for improvement.

This study looks at projects that use Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to restore blue carbon ecosystems. These are mainly areas with mangroves and seagrass in the coastal regions of Africa and Asia. These projects improve coastal protection and support the local economy. This report also provides practical tips for developing business models for NbS-projects. Especially for projects that are financed with public and private investments.

The roadmap shows the current situation of the potato sector in Uganda, maps the value chain actors, activities, and geographical spread. Also, the roadmap gives an overview of possible interventions, trade linkages, and (business) opportunities for stakeholders in the (Ugandan) potato value chain. The document focuses on assessing the Ugandan potato value chain for the potential market linkages, value addition, and the introduction of improved agricultural practices and post-harvest handling. You will find information about the logistics, standards, certification system (laws and regulations), and the document will identify investment opportunities and possible business partners within Uganda’s potato sector.
