ERC Proposal Reading Day

For whom?

This session is meant for researchers planning to apply for the European Research Council (ERC) grant with a host organisation in the Netherlands. 

Programme

The Dutch ERC National Contact Point (NCP) for the European Research Council (ERC)  is pleased to offer prospective ERC applicants the possibility to read successful ERC proposals during our Proposal Reading Day. 

During this session, the NCPs will inform you how to apply for an ERC grant, and you can read successful ERC proposals. In addition, there will be plenty of time to ask the NCPs your questions.  

Confidentiality

The NCPs have access to a limited number of successful ERC proposals, made available by ERC laureates. In order to guarantee that the successful proposals are treated correctly and as confidentially as possible, the following measures are taken: 

• You only get access to a print form of the proposal during this session. The proposals will not be sent to you electronically. 
• You are not allowed to take the proposals outside the meeting room. You have to give the documents back to the NCP after the meeting. 
• Taking photos is not allowed. 
• The ERC NCPs will remain in the same room during this session.

Please be aware that there have been large changes to the ERC template for the upcoming calls. However, we still think this session is useful to get inspiration for your own proposal. 

Registration

This service is free of charge. The amount of participants is limited to 30 attendees.

After registration, you will receive a separate e-mail with the confirmation and the opportunity to select 3 proposals you like to read during the session.
