The Dutch energy sector has published the 2020 NL Biobased Energy Guide. This guide gives an overview of the bioenergy sector in the Netherlands. It also offers helpful tips for international cooperation.

Export and cooperation

Many international organisations are looking for knowledge of bioenergy and innovation. The guide offers those organisations the information they need to succeed. It highlights Dutch success stories in this sector. It also lists Dutch companies and organisations that work in bioenergy. In other words, the guide is the perfect way to find a reliable partner for bioenergy projects.

International Clean Energy Partnership

Public and private parties worked together to create the guide. They did this as part of the International Clean Energy Partnership (ICEP) programme. The following organisations helped write the guide:

  • FME (the Dutch employers’ organisation for the technology industry)
  • Top Sector Energy
  • TKI Biobased Economy
  • The Netherlands Enterprise Agency.

With their research and practical applications, Dutch companies and research institutions are among the international leaders in the global bioenergy sector. ICEP focuses on Dutch companies that offer renewable energy products and services and helps them do business abroad. It organises trade missions and matchmaking events for these companies.
