The European Innovation Council (EIC) Transition is a new instrument in Horizon Europe that will facilitate your path from the lab to the market. An important part of this instrument is that you can successfully pitch your project to a group of experts. We offer you the opportunity to pitch your idea to our expert panel.
Pitch your idea during the EIC Transition event to a group of experts in a face-to-face interview. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency's panel for this training pitch also consist of experts. In this case, our Horizon Europe advisors of both the EIC Accelerator and EIC Pathfinder.
You can use this opportunity to get feedback and strengthen your idea before you apply.
The training pitch allows you to:
- give a short, 5 minutes pitch about your project;
- receive 10 minutes of thoughtful feedback on your project by our Horizon Europe EIC Transition experts.
The European Innovation Council (EIC) offers a subsidy of up to € 2.5 million for research, technical development and validation activities.
Eligible projects must have a technology readiness level (TRL) between TRL 4 and TRL 5-6. You can either apply as a single applicant or as a consortium of up to 5 members. Large companies cannot be a single applicant. They can either be a member or a coordinator of a consortium. A consortium can contain new members or a newly formed company that will help to market the project.
The application must be based on results of a funded:
- Future and Emerging Technologies (FET),
- FET- Flagship (including ERANET), or
- European Research Council Proof of Concept (ERC PoC).
The application is a two-step process:
- you write a proposal,
- you pitch your idea with the assessment committee of the EIC.
