The annual Latin American Congress of Ports - organised by the Latin American Delegation of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) - attracts key players from the Latin American and international maritime sector. More than 400 port leaders, company representatives and international experts participate in the conference every year. The conference will address current challenges for ports - such as climate change - and its consequences for ports and maritime sector. During this event you will also be updated on upcoming projects in port development in Latin America. The AAPA will take place in Miami, Florida this year.
The programme offers tailor-made matchmaking and network events. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to represent your company in the shared Orange Pavilion, which provides an inspiring space to connect with potential clients.
René van der Plas, Director Port of Rotterdam International
René van der Plas will head the delegation of companies from the Netherlands. As of June 2016, René van der Plas is the director of the Port of Rotterdam International. Through his role as former project director of Maasvlakte 2 and his responsibility over the rail programme, he has gained a broad experience within port development.

Registration and costs
The participation fee is €1000 per person. This includes entrance to the AAPA Conference in Miami. Participation fee including representation of your company at the shared Orange Pavilion at AAPA is €2000. The fee excludes travel, accommodation and personal expenses.
