Italy is facing major challenges in the areas of water scarcity, drinking water management, infrastructure, digitalisation and wastewater treatment. The Italian recovery plan has made 60 billion euros available for the green and ecological transition, of which water management is a part. There are advanced plans to reduce losses in the water networks, stimulate storage and reuse of water and carry out related work of digitisation and monitoring of relevant infrastructures. Italy is looking for innovative water solutions, which could lead to opportunities for Dutch companies.

Programme
You can participate in an extensive programme with roundtable sessions, a company visit to an Italian water company, a visit to the Italian international water fair H2O Accadueo in Bologna and matchmaking with a.o. Italian (drinking) water companies. H2O Accadueo in Bologna is one of the leading water fairs in Italy. The green transition in Italy is leading in the program of this fair.
