COST actions (or research networks) unite researchers and innovators to investigate a topic of their choice for a period of 4 years. 

COST actions are open to researchers from academia, SMEs, public institutions and other relevant organisations. Researchers in every career stage can take part. COST is open to all scientific fields. 

For whom? 

This webinar is interesting for researchers and research support staff, who would like to find out more about COST research networks.  

Programme

Ms Judith Litjens is Policy Officer at the COST Association in Brussels. She will discuss the following subjects during this webinar: 

  • an overview of COST; 
  • the benefits of participation; and 
  • different ways to get involved. 

The COST national coordinators at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency will also explain Dutch participation. 

Dr Sofia Teixeira de Freitas from the TU Delft is a succesful Action Chair of the COST action CertBond. She will share her experiences taking part in COST.
