Researchers who are planning to write an application for an ERC Starting or Consolidator grant can benefit from the grant workshop that is organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. This one-day workshop is given entirely in English and takes place in the centre of Utrecht.
There are 3 dates in 2019: 20 June, 5 September and 29 October.
You are a researcher who has received their PhD between 2 and 12 years ago. You are looking to set up or consolidate your (first) independent research team. To support that goal, you are planning to write an application for an ERC Starting or Consolidator grant.
This workshop is explicitly not meant for grant consultants or support staff.
- You will gain insight in the ERC rules and procedures;
- You will be able to evaluate the strength of your track record;
- You will gain insight in the term 'frontier science' and assess your own research idea accordingly;
- You will learn how to translate your research idea into an ERC proposal.
The workshop is highly interactive: apart from benefitting from the experience and insights from the group and the trainers, you will also have the opportunity to meet and discuss with a successful ERC applicant.
This workshop will be given in English. A maximum of 15 persons can participate in the workshop.
This full-day workshop will take place at the Beatrixgebouw, Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. The training starts at 9.30 am and ends at 5 pm.
The costs for this workshop are € 125 including 21% VAT. If you cancel by email at least one week prior to the start of the workshop, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
