PAIX Data Centres (PAIX) has received a 2-million-euro loan from the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF) for the expansion of its data centre network in Africa. This will create more job opportunities in Ghana and Kenya.
DGGF loan stimulates smartphone use
Thanks to the improved digital infrastructure, African PAIX customers can further develop and enhance their digital infrastructure and online services. With its data centres, PAIX is responding to the growth of internet and smartphone use in many African countries.
PAIX has had a subsidiary in Ghana - called 'RackAfrica / PAIX Ghana' – since 2018. Due to increasing demand, the company wants to expand in Ghana. At the same time, PAIX is at an advanced stage with the construction of a new data centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
