Partners for Water has granted 14 innovative projects in 10 counties a subsidy. These feasibility studies or pilot projects will test innovative products or services locally, which should lead to further improvements and upscaling.

Partners for Water offers subsidies for innovative solutions for water-related challenges abroad. The selected projects from the first subsidy application round focused on many aspects of water security. These included irrigation, water availability, flood prediction, circular water systems and groundwater buffers. In the second round, the 14 approved projects focus on various themes like salination, innovative wastewater treatment and water saving in the agricultural sector. These projects will take place in Brazil, Costa Rica, Jordan, Kenya, Nepal, Morocco, Suriname, the Philippines, Vietnam and Zambia.
