Apply for Reimbursement Fixed Costs – TVL

You must apply before 29 January 2021 17:00 CET to get a reimbursement for the period of 1 October - 31 December 2020.

Reimbursement periods

  • 1 June until 30 September 2020 (closed)
  • 1 October until 31 December 2020
  • 1 January until 31 March 2021
  • 1 April until 30 June 2021

Prepare your application

You can apply for TVL online. When you apply, some parts of the application will be completed with your Chamber of Commerce details automatically. Please check that these are correct.

Also, have the following data ready:

  • Chamber of Commerce registration number;
  • Your contact information: name, telephone number, email address;
  • Bank account number;

Did you register your business before 2 October 2019?

  • If you pay VAT: your 2019 VAT returns for Quarter 4 in pdf – October until December 2019. Pdfs from your accountancy software for this period are also acceptable;
  • If you do not pay VAT: your 2019 Quarter 4 from your accountancy software in pdf. You can also submit your 2019 financial statement in pdf instead.

Did you register your business between 1 October 2019 and 15 December 2019?

  • If you pay VAT: pdfs of your VAT returns for the first 3 full months after you started your business. Your start date is the date you registered at the Chamber of Commerce. If you do not have these VAT returns, you can submit pdfs from your accountancy software for this period.
  • If you do not pay VAT: pdfs for the first 3 full months after the start of your business from your accountancy software. You can also submit a pdf of your 2019 financial statement instead.

Did you register your business between 16 December 2019 and 29 February 2020?

  • If you pay VAT: pdfs of your VAT returns from the start of your business up until and including 15 March 2020. Your start date is the date you registered at the Chamber of Commerce. If you do not have these VAT returns, you can submit pdfs from your accountancy software for this period.
  • If you do not pay VAT: a pdf of your 2019 financial statement and your turnover details from 1 January 2020 up until and including 15 March 2020 from your accountancy software. If you do not have a financial statement for 2019, you can upload the turnover details from your accountancy software for the period from the start of your business up until and including 15 March 2020. Your start date is the date you registered at the Chamber of Commerce.

Did you register your business between 1 March 2020 and 15 March 2020?

To receive the minimum reimbursement of 750 euros, you must declare that you will have a turnover loss of at least 30% from June 2020 until October 2020. You must also declare that your fixed costs are at least 3,000 euros.

Did you register your business after 15 March 2020?

Unfortunately, you are not entitled to the Reimbursement Fixed Costs.

You can apply for a reimbursement for 1 October to 31 December 2020 until 29 January 2021 17:00 CET. To apply you need eHerkenning level 1 or DigiD (if you do not have a DigiD, please register first).

After your application

  • We aim to decide within 8 weeks.
  • We check whether your application meets the requirements and base our decision on the information from the Commercial Register as of 15 March 2020.
  • If your application fulfils all requirements, we will pay the reimbursement within 5 working days.
  • After a subsidy period ends, you will be asked for your actual turnover. We will calculate the final subsidy amount. You may receive more or have to pay back.
  • We always check applications afterwards. If you have received the reimbursement by mistake, we will review or reclaim the amount. This may take place until 5 years after payment of the reimbursement.

What if I am not entitled to TVL?
