Information Management Officer UNICEF Myanmar (junior)
CLOSED: DRRS is looking for a Junior Information Management Officer to support UNICEF in Myanmar. The duration of the assignment is maximum 3 months, start date as soon as possible. The assignment duty station will be Yangon.
Background
Myanmar faces recurring challenges from Acute Watery Diarrhea (AWD)/Cholera outbreaks and severe flooding, significantly impacting vulnerable communities. Effective coordination, enhanced data management, and capacity building are critical to address these issues efficiently. This Stand by Partner aims to strengthen WASH Cluster coordination, improve data systems, and support evidence-based decision-making.
For this position the following is required:

A university degree in social sciences, information management, computer science, public health, or related fields.

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in information management, preferably within humanitarian contexts.

Familiarity with WASH Cluster operations in Myanmar or similar settings is an advantage.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Myanmar language is an asset.
Reporting and Work Relationships

The IMO will report directly to the National WASH Cluster Coordinator and work closely with subnational teams, cluster partners, and relevant stakeholders. Regular updates will be provided to UNICEF and other humanitarian actors involved in WASH Cluster activities.
We are specifically aiming to support a young professional with limited (max 5 years) experience.
