About NCC-NL
NCC-NL is the Netherlands Cybersecurity Coordination Centre, which promotes cybersecurity knowledge exchange, cooperation, and innovation in the Netherlands and Europe. It plays a key role in connecting Dutch organisations with European cybersecurity initiatives, enabling them to access funding and build international partnerships.
NCC-NL is actively committed to creating the right framework conditions to stimulate cyber innovation in the Netherlands. As part of this commitment, NCC-NL is taking on the implementation of the Human Capital Agenda Cybersecurity (part of the broader Human Capital Agenda ICT). This will focus on increasing the number of qualified professionals in the cybersecurity sector. In addition, NCC-NL works on developing and coordinating subsidy instruments so that appropriate funding is available at every stage of innovation - from idea to scale-up.
NCC-NL is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the European Union and is supported by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
The NCC-NL 2.0 project has received funding from the European Digital Europe programme, under grant agreement number 101195264. 2.0 refers to the new project phase running from 2025 to 2028, which builds on the previous NCC-NL project.
Within Europe, NCC-NL collaborates with the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) and an EU-wide network of 29 National Coordination Centres (NCCs). The ECCC coordinates and funds cybersecurity research and innovation projects across Europe. It works on strengthening EU cybersecurity capabilities and ensuring a high level of security in digital technologies.
NCCs are key entities in each EU member state cooperating with the ECCC. They are responsible for managing and overseeing the national implementation of EU cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring that local projects align with European objectives and facilitating access to funding for national cybersecurity innovations.
