Dutch delegation to Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026, New Delhi

This delegation is for Dutch companies, organisations and knowledge institutions active in renewable energy and interested in the Indian market.

Why India?

India is an important growth market for renewable energy. This makes the country attractive to Dutch companies and organisations active in this sector.

In January 2026, a Dutch delegation of 21 companies took part in India Energy Week in Goa. This mission showed that both Dutch and Indian parties are very interested in working together in the field of renewable energy.

Opportunities for Dutch companies

India offers opportunities for Dutch companies in several areas:

• Green hydrogen: the Netherlands and India can complement each other in areas such as technology, electrolysers, infrastructure and innovation. There is also interest in the possible development of a green hydrogen corridor between India and the Netherlands.
• Offshore wind: Dutch knowledge and experience match India’s plans to develop offshore wind. Opportunities include policy, project financing, technical development and port infrastructure. 
• Other sustainable energy technologies: the growth of renewable energy in India also offers opportunities for Dutch companies active in other sustainable energy technologies.

About Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026

The Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 is organised by India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The event builds on RE-INVEST and brings together governments, companies, investors and innovators from the energy sector.

The International Conference on Green Hydrogen takes place at the same time as the expo. This offers additional opportunities for Dutch companies and organisations active in green hydrogen.

Site visit on 6 November

If there is sufficient interest, we will organise a site visit for participating companies on 6 November 2026. We will decide on the location and programme based on the interests of the participants. 

Participation and costs

Participation costs €750 per company. A maximum of 2 people per company can take part. Travel and accommodation costs are not included.
