Regenerative medicine is developing rapidly in the Netherlands and the United States, particularly in Boston, Massachusetts, and Manchester, New Hampshire.

Why Boston and Manchester?

Boston and Massachusetts are well-known global powers in the Life Sciences and healthcare sector. Boston is at the forefront of biotechnology, from research and development to entrepreneurship and commercialization. This is mainly due to the supportive ecosystem of government, corporations, universities, venture capital, and entrepreneurs. In addition, the partnership between Massachusetts and the Netherlands is unique. The core of this partnership is improving patients' lives, and it remains relevant and thriving thanks to the dedication of both parties to this transatlantic collaboration. The ReGen Valley Tech Hub in Manchester, New Hampshire, aims to make New Hampshire a global leader in biofabrication for the production of cost-effective regenerative therapies for chronic diseases and organ failure.

What's in it for you?

This mission will bring together experts from both the Dutch and US ecosystems to connect, explore research and development opportunities, and collaborate on advancing regenerative medicine solutions. Together, we aim to build a new industrial sector focused on improving patient outcomes.

For whom?

This mission is designed for entrepreneurs, researchers, engineers, clinicians, ethicists, business developers, and anyone affiliated with a knowledge institution, academic medical center, technology company, or patient organization. If you are actively involved in the fields of regenerative medicine and life sciences, this innovation mission could be of interest to you.

Programme

The programme is still under development. The different visits in the programme will cover a wide variety of topics related to the latest innovations, policymaking, funding and scientific research. The programme is designed to give a broad picture of the latest development in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We will tailor the final programme to meet the interests of participants as much as possible.
