Digital Europe  Programme - Enhancing the NCC network

This Digital Europe grant is intended to support the network of national cybersecurity coordination centres (NCCs) in their work.

Activities eligible for funding include streamlining local, national and European activities in the field of cybersecurity; supporting innovative European cybersecurity products and companies; activities aimed at community building, cyber skills development and promoting cybersecurity awareness.

  • Application period: 1 September 2026 – 14 January 2027
  • Budget: € 11 million   
  • Expected number of projects funded: tbd  
  • Estimated project duration: 3 to 4 years 
  • Subsidy programme: Digital Europe Programme, Cybersecurity work programme

Conditions

  • The objective of this topic is to support the operation of the NCCs and to enable them to support the cybersecurity community, including SMEs, for the uptake and dissemination of state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions and strengthen cybersecurity capacities.  
  • NCC’s are free to choose from the list of activities and deliverables included in this topic depending on their interest and mandate. There is no obligation for NCCs to execute all actions.

Submission criteria

  • Only entities based in the EU (including Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs)), Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein are eligible for this grant, provided that they are not (potentially) subject to influence or control by entities outside the EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
  • All applicants must include a NCC in their consortia.
