Digital Europe Programme - National Cyber Hubs

Each Member State that decides to participate in the European Cybersecurity Alert System under the EU Cyber Solidarity Act may designate one National Cyber Hub. The designated Member State can then apply for funding to support both the procurement of infrastructure and tools and the establishment, operation, and cooperation of the National Cyber Hub.

The funding consists of two mandatory components:

A) a Joint Procurement action to procure the infrastructure, tools, and services required for the National Cyber Hub; and

B) a Grant to support the establishment, collaboration, and operational costs of the National Cyber Hub.

Applicants are only eligible for funding under component B if their application for component A is successful. 
 

Conditions

Results of this call should lead to:

• World-class National Cyber Hubs equipped with state-of-the-art technology
• Enhanced threat intelligence, situational awareness and capacity building to strengthen collaboration between public and private cybersecurity actors.
• Targeted ECSF-based training to strengthen cybersecurity skills and capabilities.
• Automated notification tools to alert public and private actors about compromised or insecure systems.

Submission criteria

• This funding is only available to public bodies designated by their Member States to act as National Cyber Hubs.
• National Cyber Hubs must cooperate with other stakeholders and commit to apply to particiapte in a Cross-Border Cyber Hub within two years to enable cross-border information exchange with other National Cyber Hubs.
