Digital Europe: Uptake of innovative cybersecurity solutions for SMEs

This European grant from the Digital Europe program is intended for the development of AI technologies that contribute to improving Cyber Threat Intelligence processes of (national) CSIRTS and other relevant national authorities; or improving the security of AI processes and tools in the light of European regulations.

This topic is prioritised for national co-financing. This additional funding complements the EU-contribution, allowing companies, research and education institutions and public authorities to receive higher reimbursement for their project costs.

Conditions

This call should lead to the development of toolkits focused on cybersecurity for SMEs, which contribute to the following goals:

  • Developing a toolkit that can automatically assess the cyber risks an SME faces within its organization and value chain and identify areas for improvement.
  • Improving support during incidents and crises for SMEs, e.g., through a helpline or a national incident response center.
  • Creating support tools and platforms, such as an interface for incident reporting and a standard dispatch team when an incident is reported.

Submission criteria

  • Only entities from the EU, Norway and Iceland are able to apply for this call.
