MHPSS Surge Mechanism is organizing a Coordination and Inter-Agency Support Training for Roster Members. The training will be held in The Hague from 10-13 June 2025.
The training is designed to equip current and future inter-agency MHPSS coordinators with the necessary operational tools and competencies to effectively manage and coordinate MHPSS Technical Working Groups (TWGs) in national emergency settings.
We invite candidates who meet the following criteria to apply:
- Availability and willingness to commit to deployment on short notice via the MHPSS Surge Mechanism within the next 12 months (consultancy).
- A minimum of 5 years of country-level experience in MHPSS.
- Familiarity with IASC MHPSS Tools and Resources.
- Proficiency in English.
- Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of Arabic, French, Portuguese, or Spanish.
- Ability to travel to The Hague, Netherlands, to attend the training (visa support letter will be provided to those who need it).
Interested candidates should submit their CVs, along with a brief motivation letter answering the following question: “How do my educational background and professional experience align with the requirements of the MHPSS surge roster, and what unique contributions can I offer to this role when I go to the field?” (maximum one page), to mhpss@rvo.nl by Sunday, 9 March 2025 at the latest.
Please note that participation in the training is free for MHPSS Surge Mechanism roster members. Travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 25, and selection will be based on the criteria outlined above.
