MHPSS TWG Coordinator with WHO in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)

MHPSS Surge Mechanism is looking for an MHPSS TWG Coordinator to support the MHPSS Technical Working Group in Goma in the DRC. The duration of the deployment, which is hosted by WHO, is three months. Starting date is as soon as possible. Kindly note that for this position fluency in French and English are required, fluency of any local language (relevant to the area) is desirable.

Please note that this deployment will take place in response to the recent Ebola outbreak in the region and that selected candidates will be required to meet WHO’s minimum medical clearance requirements prior to deployment, including mandatory vaccinations against yellow fever, polio, and measles (as applicable based on vaccination history and immunity status). Other recommended vaccinations may also be required or advised for deployment to the region. The medical clearance process and verification of vaccination status will be completed during the pre-deployment phase. As the situation on the ground evolves, additional measures may be introduced based on the latest updates. Any such measures will be communicated to the selected experts before the deployment process begins.
