Frequently Asked Questions
If the student/pupil decides to stop the practical training at your company, you are still eligible for a subsidy. It may also happen that the student/pupil does not fit well within your company or the cooperation does not work out due to circumstances. You may then decide to stop supervising this student/pupil. You can then still apply for subsidy for the weeks you supervised the student/pupil.
This is because the subsidy is a compensation for your effort in supervising the student/pupil in practice. The end date of your subsidy application is then the date on which the student/pupil stopped the practical training at your company.
You apply for a subsidy per school year. This means that you first apply for the weeks you provided practical training in the first school year of the practical training. Then, in the next school year, you apply for a subsidy for the weeks you supervised the student/pupil in that (next) school year.
No. However, an important condition is that you have the capacity within your company to supervise the students/pupils in practice.
The maximum subsidy amount is €2,700 per student per school year if you have provided the student with 40 weeks of practical supervision. If you have provided fewer weeks of supervision, the amount will be calculated proportionally: €2,700 / 40 x the number of weeks the student was present and you provided practical supervision.
You can add multiple students to the application form. In addition, you must also submit a practical agreement and the 'BPV attendance & tasks' form for each student.
