Fishing under the Dutch flag: register as master of the vessel
Do you want to fish under the Dutch flag? Then you must be registered as a master. You can find the form on Registration Master of the Vessel. Have your identification number ready. In the Netherlands, this will be your Burgerservicenummer (BSN).
Fish transport for foreign vessels
Do you fish under a foreign flag and do you land your catch in a Dutch port? And do you transport your fish abroad or within the Netherlands to sell it? For example: you landed your catch in IJmuiden but want to sell the fish in the United Kingdom. You need to transport the fish.
You must submit your transport details. Have your identification number ready. For a natural person in the Netherlands, this will be your Burgerservicenummer (BSN). For a company, it will be your KVK number.
