2 WASH Officers (P3) with WHO DRC

CLOSED - DRRS is looking for 2 WASH Officers (P3) to support WHO in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in their response to the new outbreak of Ebola virus disease (EVD) in Ituri Province. Duty station is Bunia. The duration of the deployment is 3 months, starting date is immediate.

For this position, French proficiency is manadatory.

The following is required for these 2 WASH positions:

  • University degree in logistics, supply chain management, pharmacy, public health, construction and infrastructure management, OR logistics, anthropology, psychology, sociology, public health, or a related field;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in health logistics WASH and/or supply chain management;
  • Experience supporting emergency or outbreak response operations;
  • Previous Ebola or infectious disease outbreak experience is an asset;
  • Fluency in French required; working knowledge of English desirable;
  • A sound knowledge of the WHO mandate and goals or in UN organizations/agencies, health cluster partners, recognized humanitarian organizations, international water and sanitation institutions or NGOs.
