Sanitation and PHE Coordinator with UNICEF Gaza

OPEN - DRRS is looking for a Sanitation and Public Health Emergency (P3) to support UNICEF Gaza, duty station Gaza. The duration of the deployment is 3 months. Expected starting date is ASAP. Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic or another official UN language is an asset. National candidates are encouraged to apply for this role.

For this position, the following is required:

  • Significant experience with developing strategies and implementation of humanitarian sanitation interventions in complex conditions. 
  • Experience with sanitation activities further than the user face, thus including the transport, treatment and disposal of faecal matter. 
  • Experience with waste water treatment plants (design/implementation).
  • Experience with Urban WASH (planning, coordination, implementation)
  • Fluency in English is required.
