Are you looking for financial support for your cybersecurity projects? In the Cybersecurity Funding Portal, you will find a wide range of subsidy and funding schemes suitable for cybersecurity (innovation) projects at regional, national and European levels. These subsidies are commissioned by various ministries and the European Union. Whether it is about developing innovative security technologies, strengthening digital resilience, securing IT infrastructures, or complying with new regulations, there are several subsidies you can make use of.

Using the Cybersecurity Funding Portal

dcypher and NEXIS NCC-NL have created this Cybersecurity Funding Portal to get you started in the wide range of funding options for cybersecurity projects. To make the offer as complete as possible, you will find specific subsidies for cybersecurity (innovation) in the Portal, complemented by more general innovation subsidies organisations, active in cybersecurity, can apply for.

You will get a tailor-made overview by indicating who you are and what you are looking for. You will immediately see the result of your choice(s), and you can adjust your choice(s) as you wish. The results are sorted by relevance (most searched for). You can also sort by alphabetical order and by date.

Of course, we take into account that many subsidies and schemes can be used for multiple target groups and purposes. These subsidies are visible under each target group, so you do not miss anything.

Are you looking for a specific scheme? Then, search by scheme name or abbreviation on the search screen.

  • temporarily closed: the scheme is now closed. You cannot submit an application. However, we do know or expect this scheme to reopen. Check the scheme page for more information, budget and conditions.
  • closed: the scheme is closed, and we know or expect it will not reopen. Existing customers can manage their applications via the scheme page.

Technology Readiness Levels (TRL)

Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) are used to distinguish between the different development phases.

Discovery phase (TRL 1-3)

  • Fundamental research into basic principles.
  • The concept is being investigated, but there are no concrete applications yet.

Development phase (TRL 4-6)

  • First prototypes are built and tested.
  • The aim is to demonstrate the feasibility of the technology.

Demonstration phase (TRL 7-8)

The technology is tested and demonstrated in a user environment.

Deployment phase (TRL 9)

The technology is technically and commercially ready, production-ready and ready for launch.
