Would you like to do business with the United Nations (UN)? We are organising 2 preparation sessions for the UN International Procurement Seminar (UN IPS) 2027 in Copenhagen. Business opportunities with the UN
The UN is one of the world's largest public procurement organisations. In 2025, UN organisations purchased goods and services worth 22.7 billion USD worldwide. Of this amount, 357 million USD went to Dutch companies and institutions.
Dutch companies supply goods and services across different sectors, including life sciences and health (LSH), food and agriculture, logistics, water, ICT, and consultancy. This offers opportunities for innovative Dutch companies looking to enter or expand their business in the UN market.

UN International Procurement Seminar 2027
The UN International Procurement Seminar (UN IPS) will take place on 2 and 3 March 2027 at UN City in Copenhagen, Denmark. This international seminar brings together companies from the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Ireland with procurement representatives from different UN organisations.
UN IPS offers opportunities for companies looking to do business with the UN for the first time. It is also an excellent opportunity for companies already active in this market to make new contacts and discover new business opportunities.
During UN IPS, you can:
- learn about the UN procurement system and future business opportunities;
- attend presentations by UN organisations about the goods and services they need;
- take part in pre-arranged 1-to-1 meetings with UN procurement officers;
- expand your network with Dutch, British and Irish companies that already do business with UN organisations or are interested in doing so;
- increase your visibility as a potential UN supplier.
Please note: Registering for an RVO preparation session does not automatically register you for UN IPS 2027.

Preparation sessions
We are organising 2 sessions to help Dutch companies prepare for UN IPS 2027.
1. Networking and information event in Utrecht - 5 November 2026
During this event, you will meet other Dutch companies interested in doing business with the UN. You will also hear about the experiences of companies that have previously attended UN IPS.

2. Online information session - 16 December 2026 at 11:00
During this webinar, you will receive practical information about UN IPS 2027. You will learn how to register, which UN organisations will participate and what the preliminary programme looks like. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
