MHPSS Officer with WHO in Yemen
MHPSS Surge mechanism is looking for an MHPSS Officer to work closely with the Health Cluster Coordinator, local authorities, UN partners, NGOs and non-health actors to ensure a standardized and coordinated approach to MHPSS programming in Yemen through inter-agency coordination.
The duration of the deployment, which is hosted by WHO, is 3 months. Starting date is as soon as possible. Kindly note that for this position, fluency in English is required and Arabic language knowledge is desirable. Candidates are expected to have a Master's degree in Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling and at least five years of related experience in MHPSS programming, including service delivery, needs assessment, program management, and capacity building in the public health or social development sector, part of which in a humanitarian or emergency context.
