WASH Expert with UNICEF Haiti (Hurricane Melissa / Early WASH Emergency Response)

DRRS is looking for a WASH Expert (P3) to support UNICEF Haiti in their Hurricane Melissa / Early WASH Emergency Response, with duty station Les Cayes. The duration of the deployment is 3 months. Fluency in French and English is required and mandatory,  Haitian Creole is an asset for this position.

For this position, the following qualifications are required:

• Advanced degree in Water Engineering, Environmental Health, Public Health, or 
related field
Minimum 8 years in emergency WASH response, early recovery, and 
coordination
• Demonstrated experience supporting government-led coordination 
• Experience developing donor proposals and technical response plans

The following competencies are required:
• Technical expertise in child-focused and child-sensitive WASH emergency 
response, early recovery, and system strengthening
• Ability to facilitate collaboration across humanitarian and development actors (HDP 
nexus)
• Strong analytical, coordination, and partnership management skills
• Commitment to humanitarian principles, child rights, and inclusion
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in dynamic emergency contexts
