WASH Logistician with WHO DRC (P3)
OPEN - DRRS is looking for a WASH logistician (P3) to support WHO in their response to the Ebola outbreak in the DR Congo, Kasai province. The duration of the deployment is 2 months (or 60 days). Fluency in both French and English is required for this position.
For this position the following is required:
Essential:
- A first university degree in pharmacy, business or public administration, procurement, logistics or a field related to transportation & distribution, from a recognized university.
- Availability on the very short term, for a period of 2 months
- At least two years of relevant experience in WASH and IPC.
- Experience in in developing countries. Prior humanitarian working experience at field level, with WHO, other UN agency, health cluster partners, recognized humanitarian organizations or with an international nongovernmental organization.
- Excellent organizational and managerial skills with the ability to multitask, deliver results in time critical scenarios, identify and solve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to coordinate activities and multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate with and convince officials with tact and diplomacy.
- Fluency in French and English.
