From strategic planning to Slush 100 success
With the introduction of their GRIP platform at tech exhibition Slush 2023, the Dutch healthcare startup OASYS NOW changed the healthcare sector landscape. A year later, the company won the Slush 100 contest with their second platform, ELaiGIBLE. CEO Nima Salami reflects on how useful it was to attend the tech exhibition.

Finding solutions to a complex quest
Finding the proper care for patients with rare or chronic conditions is a big challenge. Long waiting times and incomplete information create barriers, sometimes keeping lifesaving treatments out of reach. OASYS NOW saw a solution to these problems.
Their first platform, GRIP, uses AI to connect patients with suitable treatments. The product provides an overview of existing options and tracks the latest medical developments. "It is all about removing barriers and giving patients faster access to the right care", says Nima Salami, CEO of OASYS NOW.
The company's second innovative platform, ELaiGIBLE, makes it easier to find out if a patient can take part in a clinical trial. It shortens the waiting times from months to minutes.
The startup is committed to safe and ethical data processing. With Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs), they protect patient information while collecting valuable information for medical research. PETs ensure a safe and efficient transfer of data between healthcare professionals and researchers.
OASYS NOW received strong recognition for its AI-driven healthcare solutions and data privacy. As a result, they received both the Dutch Privacy Award and European Cybersecurity Award.

€ 1 million in investments
GRIP's launch at Slush 2023 marked a significant milestone for OASYS NOW. Although they did not make it to the Slush 100 finals, participating provided valuable insights and important connections with investors and potential business partners.
The startup returned to Slush 2024 with their ELaiGIBLE platform. This time, they did win the Slush 100 competition, including € 1 million in investments from venture capitalists specialised in the healthcare sector. "Winning Slush 100 felt like an acknowledgement for our continuous work and our mission", Salami says proudly.
