Regenerative medicine is a rapidly growing biomedical research, technology, and patient care area. It aims to develop patients game-changing therapies to help our bodies restore or regenerate cells, tissues, and organs damaged by injury, aging, cancer, and disease.

Regenerative medicine is a rapidly advancing field in the Netherlands and Germany. With its proximity, excellent research infrastructure, and strength in production, Germany is a valuable partner for the Dutch RegMed ecosystem. During the visiting program, we bring experts from both ecosystems to connect, explore research and development opportunities dedicated to bringing regenerative medicine solutions to patients, and collaborate on creating a new industrial sector.

For whom?

If you are an entrepreneur, researcher, engineer, clinician, ethicist, business developer, affiliated with a knowledge institution, (academic) medical center, (technology) company, or patient organization, and are you active in the theme mentioned above, participating in this mission could be of interest to you.

What's in it for you?

This visit program allows you to be right in the center of the German developments in Regenerative Medicine. This innovation mission will focus on the vibrant Munich and Berlin ecosystems, with possible stops being the Charité, Bayer, the Berlin Institute of Health, Helmholtz Pioneer Campus, and BioM. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities in which important stakeholders from other regions in the South and East of Germany, such as Fraunhofer IPA and the BioPark Regensburg, will be present.

Programme

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Innovation Network in Germany developed the mission programme in collaboration with RegMedXB and Health~Holland. Below you can download the draft programme. We aim to consider the wishes of mission participants as much as possible when determining the final programme.
