Reporting plant protection products
The content of this page has been checked on 1 July 2026
If you are the authorisation holder for one or more plant protection products for professional use and you sell these products in the Netherlands, you must report the quantity of active substances you have sold each year.
Why you must submit a declaration
We gather data on the sale of active substances in plant protection products for professional use. As a member state of the European Union (EU), we submit the information each year to the statistical office of the EU (Eurostat).
The Board for the Authorisation of Plant Protection Products and Biocides (College voor de toelating van gewasbeschermingsmiddelen en biociden, Ctgb) gave you permission to sell one or more plant protection products in the Netherlands. Plant protection products contain one or more active substances. For example, chemical substances or microorganisms.
What you must report
You must submit the quantity of active substances you sold for professional use last year. Submit this in kilograms. Did you sell products containing active substances of microbiological origin? If so, please submit the total quantity sold of the mentioned products. You must state this in kilograms or liters.
If you did not sell any plant protection products last year, but still held an authorization to sell one or more plant protection products in the Netherlands during that period, you must also submit a declaration. Please enter “0” on the form in this case.
You do not have to declare the sale of active substances for private use.
When and how to submit your declaration
You can submit your declaration from July 1 2026, but before September 15 2026.
Logging in from abroad
