Offshore Wind Energy in the Netherlands Workshop
What are the latest developments in offshore wind energy in the Netherlands? And what are the Dutch Government's plans regarding offshore wind energy for the upcoming period? Find out during the semi-annual Offshore Wind Energy in the Netherlands Workshop.
The workshop takes place during the Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) in the RAI Amsterdam. For those unable to attend the workshop in person, you can also participate online.
For whom?
The workshop is intended for professionals in the offshore wind industry and/or individuals involved in the development of offshore wind projects.
What can you expect?
During the workshop, we will discuss latest developments in the Dutch offshore wind market and provide a preview of our activities in upcoming months.
We will discuss:
- the Ministry of Climate Policy and Green Growth’s offshore wind plans;
- developments under the 21 GW Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap and beyond towards 2040 (including an update about the Partial Revision, amongst other things);
- latest updates about the next tender round for the IJmuiden Ver Gamma-A, IJmuiden Ver Gamma-B, Nederwiek I-A and Nederwiek I-B Wind Farm Sites (Q3 2025);
- latest updates about the offshore grid;
- latest updates about the site characterisation studies and the publication of the next Project & Site Description (PSD) for IJmuiden Ver Sites Gamma-A and -B.

About this workshop
Twice a year, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) hosts the Offshore Wind Energy in the Netherlands Workshop. This workshop is organised in collaboration with:
- the Ministry of Climate Policy and Green Growth;
- the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat);
- grid operator TenneT.
Representatives from each of these organisations will be present to answer questions.
