VivaTech is an annual event in Paris where innovative startups and tech giants come together to present the latest technologies and digital trends. This event takes place over four days at the Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris. More than 165,000 visitors, 13,500 start-ups, and 3,200 investors from around the world meet there.

At VivaTech, you will have the chance to showcase your innovative technology to potential investors, partners, and customers.

For whom?

You can participate if your startup meets the following criteria:

  • Your product or service is high tech, innovative, and potentially disruptive;
  • You have started or are ready for international scaling;
  • Your startup is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

If you do not meet the above profile but have a strong motivation to attend VivaTech 2025, please let us know why you should be part of the Dutch delegation when you apply.

Women's entrepreneurship

The government is committed to increasing diversity. RVO particularly encourages women entrepreneurs to join trade missions. We do not select participants based on gender, but we do challenge you to look for women participants within your own organisation for the mission.

Why participate?

By joining this trade mission, you will gain access to international markets, particularly the French market. The mission focuses on supporting fast-growing Dutch tech startups that want to do business internationally or are already doing so. Together, we will put the Dutch startup ecosystem on the map.

VivaTech offers the chance to:

  • present your product or service to a large, international audience;
  • have your product or service validated/tested;
  • expand your network internationally;
  • meet potential investors;
  • generate media attention.

The Netherlands has its own NL Lounge at VivaTech. This is a great base for networking. There are no individual stands for each startup, but we organise several side events with partners where you can meet investors and coaches.

Do not forget that networking with other participants is also extremely valuable. Sharing experiences and each other’s networks often leads to partnerships and even customers.

Programme

The mission is currently being developed and the programme is subject to change. An online information session will take place on 19 May. The mission will roughly look as follows:

  • 10 June: Welcome to Paris and preparation event.
  • 11–14 June: During these four days, you will visit VivaTech at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. There will also be side events across Paris. The NL Lounge at VivaTech will be your base for networking, meetings, and potentially presenting your product or service.
  • 12 June: In the evening, there will be a Dutch Networking event at a beautiful location in Paris.

Participation fee

The cost of participation is €500 excluding VAT per startup, with a maximum of 2 participants per company. The fee covers:

  • 2 access passes for unlimited entry to VivaTech and the online platform;
  • Use of the NL Lounge;
  • Participation in all side events of the mission;
  • Networking opportunities with potential investors;
  • The chance to sign contracts or MoUs in the presence of the delegation leader;
  • Local support from the Startup Liaison Officer at the Dutch Embassy in Paris, and from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).

This excludes:

  • travel and accommodation costs;
  • meals and drinks (unless otherwise specified in the programme).

Registration

You can no longer register for this mission.

Please note: only a limited number of startups can join this mission.

It is important that the companies joining fit within the mission’s setup and focus. Registration does not automatically mean participation. After the deadline, we will inform you whether you have been selected.

The working language of the mission is English.

Organisation

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) is organising this mission in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Paris.

Corporate Social Responsibility

The Dutch government values corporate social responsibility (CSR), including human rights, and supports the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on CSR. Adhering to these OECD guidelines is one of the requirements for participating in this mission.
