About Horizon Europe Cluster 6

The research and innovation activities under Horizon Europe Cluster 6 contribute to the objectives of relevant EU policies and strategies. Such as the European Green Deal and the Biodiversity Strategy to 2030. Suppose you submit a proposal for Destination Biodiversity and ecosystem services. In that case, your topic should contribute to putting biodiversity on a path to recovery, and protecting and restoring ecosystems and their services. €134 million is available in 2025 for these research and innovation activities. 

LIFE Nature & Biodiversity

The LIFE sub-programme Nature and Biodiversity aims to protect and restore Europe’s nature and to halt and reverse biodiversity loss. The programme will fund nature conservation projects, particularly in biodiversity, habitats, and species. It supports projects that contribute to implementing the EU Birds and Habitats directives, particularly developing and managing the Natura 2000 network. A total of €157 million is available in 2025 for these projects.
