Patent information is interesting and valuable for everyone involved in innovation, from start-ups and SMEs to research and development professionals and corporate strategists.

Programme

During this workshop, you will learn how to search patent publications in freely accessible patent databases. We will teach you how to search with keywords and classification codes and how to read a patent. This way, you will discover which technical inventions already exist, and you can build on them. It will also help you monitor potential competitors and prevent you from infringing on others' patent rights.

After this training, you will search more confidently through more than 150 million patent publications.

Britta Helwig, patent advisor at Octrooicentrum Nederland, will host this workshop in collaboration with Brightlands Venlo.

Please note: this workshop is in English.
