The Netherlands has big ambitions for sustainable energy generation, in particular for offshore wind farms. To meet these goals, we need investments in innovations focused on international markets. This creates business opportunities for the Dutch offshore wind sector.

What is Offshore Wind International

The Netherlands strives to achieve climate neutrality in 2050. Offshore wind energy plays a vital role in reaching this goal. It is an important part of the Dutch climate policy and essential for accelerating the sustainable energy transition.

The Dutch offshore wind sector is internationally renowned for its innovations and expertise in constructing large wind farms. This know-how, along with international climate agreements and other countries' ambitions, creates export opportunities for the sector.

Offshore Wind International is part of the International Clean Energy Partnership (ICEP). Through this programme, the Netherlands government supports entrepreneurs from the sustainable energy and offshore wind energy sector in doing business abroad.

For whom?

The Offshore Wind International programme focuses on parties active in the renewable energy sector, particularly in offshore wind energy. These companies and organisations must also be prepared to do business abroad.
