Still unsure if VivaTech is right for you? Check out this website with 5 reasons to attend VivaTech.

Participating in VivaTech Paris through the RVO is an incredibly positive experience for startups and scale-ups. We participated last year with Enlabeler. Through the engaging and diverse programme of the RVO startup team, we made contact with many other startups and international companies. Besides that, it was great fun spending time with the enthusiastic team and the Dutch Embassy in Paris. I am still in touch with them!

Why take part?

This trade mission will let you gain access into the international and French market. Our mission focuses on supporting fast-growing Dutch tech startups who want to expand their businesses internationally. Together, we will put the Dutch startup ecosystem on the map.

Top 5 reasons to take part in VivaTech 2024:

  • present your product or service to a large, international audience;
  • validate or test your product or service;
  • expand your international network;
  • meet potential investors;
  • generate media attention for your product and company.

Bonus reason: we often forget to mention that meeting up with other participants is considered valuable. Not only to share experiences but also to establish partnerships.

For whom?

We are looking for companies that:

  • have a high-tech, innovative and potentially disruptive product or service;
  • have started or are ready for international scale-up;
  • are registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

Does your company not fit this profile, but would you still like to join this trade mission? Please explain in your application why you should be part of the Dutch delegation to VivaTech.

Full attendance required

Trade missions are significant in successfully growing and developing a startup. So preparing and participating in every part of this mission is essential. With that in mind, we kindly request that you attend the VivaTech Bootcamp on 25 April and participate in every aspect of the VivaTech programme from 21 May to 25 May. If you are unable to attend, please consider to send a colleague or rethink your application.

Registration and fees

You can no longer register for this mission.

We will inform you whether you have been selected during the week of 25 - 31 March. Each participant must register separately. The mission will be conducted in English.

Up to 20 startups can join this trade mission. Companies that join the mission must fall within mission's scope and focus. Registration does not guarantee your place in this mission.

We also encourage women's entrepreneurship. We do not select participants based on gender. But we challenge you to look for women participants within your organisation to take part in this mission.

Fees

The participation fee is €500 (excluding VAT) per company. Only 2 participants per company can take part. This fee gives you the following:

  • unlimited access to VivaTech and their online platform;
  • access to the compulsory VivaTech preparatory meeting on 25 April;
  • use of the NL Lounge as a meeting point at VivaTech;
  • access to side events and networking events;
  • networking opportunities with potential investors;
  • the opportunity to sign contracts or Memoranda of Understanding in the presence of the Head of Delegation;
  • support from the Startup Liaison Officers at the Netherlands Embassy in Paris and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.

Travel and accommodation

Travel and accommodation costs are at your own expense. This also applies to meals and drinks unless stated otherwise in the programme.

Corporate Social Responsibility

The Dutch government emphasises corporate social responsibility (CSR) and endorses the OECD Guidelines for multinational enterprises. These state the CSR standards for internationally active entrepreneurs. Following the OECD guidelines is one of the conditions for participation in this mission. To assess whether your company meets these requirements, we ask you to fill out a CSR self-assessment after registration.
