Are you an entrepreneur or researcher looking for new European partners for your research and innovation project(s) within one or more of the Horizon Europe programmes? Then the networking event 'Successful R&I in Europe 2026' in Düsseldorf, Germany, is the place to be! This is where (potential) Horizon Europe participants from North Rhine-Westphalia and other European regions come together to network and develop new projects.

  • Please note: you can submit your proposals for presentations until 4 January 2026.
  • Participation fee: €150 per person for 2 days / €120 for 1 day, including VAT.

This networking event provides a platform to establish productive and sustainable contacts between researchers and entrepreneurs from North Rhine-Westphalia and other parts of Europe, in preparation for projects within the Horizon Europe programmes.

For whom?

This event is of interest to universities, research institutes and companies, with a special focus on SMEs.

Why participate?

Presentation opportunities

As a participant, you can give short presentations on your ideas and/or results in relation to Horizon Europe calls.

Networking opportunities

The event offers you opportunities to get involved in existing and new technology networks between researchers, entrepreneurs and stakeholders within the framework of Horizon Europe.

Parallel workshops

In addition, parallel workshops will be organised around the six themes of the clusters of Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe:

  • Cluster 1: health
  • Cluster 2: creative industries
  • Cluster 4: digital technologies
  • Cluster 4: industrial technologies
  • Cluster 5: energy
  • Cluster 5: mobility
  • Cluster 6: food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment

Participation and costs

The participation fee is €150 per person for both days or €120 for one day, including VAT.

The costs cover:

  • dinner on 19 February;
  • lunch on 20 February;
  • drinks during breaks;
  • airport shuttle service.

Travel and accommodation costs are not included.

Speakers in sessions 1 to 4 can participate free of charge.
